LEAD MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

Description: Project related responsibilities include client contact, project conceptualization, contract document preparation, cost estimating, specification writing, shop drawing review, construction coordination, and budget monitoring. Non-project responsibilities include mentoring junior engineers and designers, departmental and company improvement activities, and personal and professional development. There is significant interaction with our project management group and with clients.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years design experience with comfort and process cooling and heating using air, water, and steam systems.
• Design experience with plumbing systems and mechanical utilities.
• Boiler and chiller central plant design experience.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls systems.
• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. PE a plus.
