		Better Business Bureau (BBB) Hixson is an accredited business of the BBB.
		Association for Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) Hixson has been a member of AACE for over 15 years. Members attend local and annual meetings and have provided cost-related presentations on numerous occasions. In addition, Hixson associate Duane Meyer, a nearly 30 year member and past president, is currently serving as secretary of the local Southwestern Ohio Section.
		American Concrete Institute Member since 1989. Hixson has supported the chapter in a number of roles such as serving on the Greater Miami Valley Chapter Board & Certification Committee, presenting at panel discussions and hosting certification exams and committee meetings. In addition, Hixson's Emily Wilkins is a past president of the local ACI chapter.
		The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Hixson associates have served in chapter leadership positions for this organization, of which Hixson has been a long time member.
		American Institute of Baking Hixson's Mike Steur is a member of this organization's Educational Advisory panel.
		American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) Hixson is a member nationally, locally and also part of the Food Division of this organization.
		American Meat Institute (AMI) Having served the meat and poultry industries for many years, Hixson joined AMI in 2001. Chris Harmon, P.E., served on AMI's Facility Design Task Force, a steering committee establishing the facility standards that affect product quality and safety and employee welfare.
		American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Engineers: Every associate in the Mechanical Department is a member of ASHRAE. Hixson has a past Local Chapter President and a current Local Chapter Treasurer on his way to becoming Chapter President. Our associates actively attend and volunteer time for local, regional, and national ASHRAE meetings, seminars, and events.
		American Society for Quality (ASQ) The American Society for Quality, recognized as the pre-eminent worldwide organization for quality professionals. Hixson is also a member of the Design and Construction Division.
		Bakery Equipment Manufacturer Association (BEMA) Hixson has been a member of BEMA for over 10 years. Hixson's Mike Steur, P.E., was formerly on its Board of Directors and is currently serving two committee-level assignments.
		Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Mike Meyer has been a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) since 2000 and currently serves on the board of directors for the Cincinnati chapter. CSI is an individual membership technical society whose core purpose is to improve the process of creating and sustaining the built environment. Hixson supports the local chapter by providing use of the Hixson building for chapter board meetings and is also the local annual certification testing site.
		CoreNet Global A member since 1995, Hixson supports this organization of corporate real estate professionals on a regional and national basis.
		International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) Hixson has been a long time member of this association, serving in a variety of capacities from technical committee to supporting industry initiatives.
		Illuminating Engineering Society of North America (IESNA) As a member of this organization, Hixson associates have also served in past leadership roles. Hixson's Bruce Krekeler was a past Local Chapter President and has served on the Board of Managers of the local chapter since 1993.
		International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Hixson’s Colleen McCafferty currently serves as President of IFMA's Corporate Headquarters Council, whose mission is to create networking, educational, and information sharing forums targeted at facility professionals responsible for corporate headquarters facility assets. In addition, Hixson has also supported the Council by hosting past conferences.
		International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration (IIAR) Jim Adler, Hixson's Manager of Refrigeration Engineering, was recently elected to the Board of Directors at IIAR, an industry organization which provides information, education, standards and more for the global ammonia refrigeration industry. Adler’s election was held at the 2009 IIAR Industrial Refrigeration Conference & Exhibition, which took place in Dallas, Texas. He will serve a three-year term. Other Hixson associates are involved with committee-level roles in this organization.
