A Look Inside: Hixson Ink

In 1991, a small group of Hixson associates met to put together the inaugural issue of the firm’s internal newsletter. The publication, aptly called Hixson Ink, a play on our formal name “Hixson Inc.,” has been going strong ever since. Current editor Christina Meyer has taken the newsletter from its original 4-page layout, to an 8-page, quarterly issue featuring a traditional mix of employee updates (including travel adventures, and upcoming birthdays, anniversaries and retirements), as well as company updates (such as firm-wide initiatives and community service activities).  What makes Hixson Ink truly special though are the quirkier pieces, such as cartoons currently created by associate James Fiorini, a wrap-up Final Splash column and even a “Dear Hixi” question-and-answer column.  All articles are written by and for, the associates of Hixson.

We know we’ve probably peaked your interest in reading an issue or two of Hixson Ink, but to do that, you have to work here.  Take a few minutes now to check out our available openings and submit your resume today.  Who knows? We might just feature YOU in a future issue of the Ink.
