Prepare Affair 2019
Each year, a large group of volunteers from Hixson – both associates and families – join together to assist in Prepare Affair sponsored by People Working Cooperatively. Held this year on Saturday, November 16, this annual, one-day event pairs volunteers like those from Hixson with homeowners who need assistance in getting their houses and yards ready for the winter. Hixson’s team starts out the day with a warm breakfast before moving on to their assigned location, where they perform a variety of services ranging from easy (leaf removal) to those that are more complicated such as repairs and maintenance activities.
