Serving Our Industry: AACE International

Hixson’s Manager of Cost Estimating, Mike Downing, CPE, LEED AP BD&C, is a long-time member of AACE International, one of the leading industry organizations devoted to the improvement of Cost Estimating practices and strategies.

Currently, Mike serves as Treasurer for the AACE International Southwest Ohio section. In this position, Mike works together with Hixson colleague Sai Mattaparthi, the chapter’s Secretary – which is also incidentally the role in which Mike began his service with the organization!  In addition, Mike previously served as president of the Southwest Ohio section for many years.
