Hixson Welcomes Sean Kinney

Hixson is pleased to announce that Sean Kinney has joined our firm!  As an Engineer in our Electrical Engineering Department, Sean will be responsible for designing electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities.  After growing up on Cincinnati’s West Side, Sean now lives in Anderson Township. He holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.

The Very Important Question

With Hixson’s in-depth experience in designing and engineering food and beverage plants, it seemed only appropriate that we ask Sean the following Very Important Question (VIQ) to get to know him better:

What is your least favorite food?

“I’d have to say brussels sprouts. When I was younger, my Dad said if I or my older brother would eat one, he’d get us a malt from United Dairy Farmers (UDF).  I remember it taking me forever to eat this little brussels sprout while my brother just said no.  My Dad went to UDF and came home with my malt, along with one for my brother. I decided then and there that would be the last time I’d eat one!”

Key lesson learned from Sean: UDF forever, brussels sprouts never!
