Hixson Highlighted in Annual Food Engineering Plant Construction Survey
Hixson has once again participated in Food Engineering magazine’s annual Plant Construction Survey, which features projects of $1MM or more begun, completed, or worked on during 2021. As part of the accompanying article, Chris Jarc, Hixson Vice President and Manager of Project Management, discussed the challenges being wrought by global supply chain issues and labor shortages. Chris says that in recent months, these issues have led to “higher overall project costs, extended lead times for equipment and materials, and extended construction schedules.” (In fact, Chris and Hixson’s Craig Cheevers were featured in other related articles in the past few weeks. See links in Related Content below!)
