Hixson Welcomes Juan Carlos Negrete

Hixson is pleased to announce that Juan Carlos Negrete recently joined our firm! As a Project Engineer in our Structural Engineering department, Juan Carlos provides structural analysis and design services as well as coordinating structural systems with other Hixson disciplines. He holds both a B.S. in Civil Engineering and an M.S. in Structural Engineering from Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolas de Hidalgo in Morelia, Mexico. He holds an additional M.S. in Engineering of Structures from the Universidad de La Salle Bajio in Leon, Mexico.

On the Personal Side

Juan Carlos says that the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens have become a favorite destination for he and his young family since their move to Cincinnati. Besides being one of the top-ranked Zoos in the country, it can provide quite the workout. Here’s what Juan Carlos said:

“I really workout every time we visit there, not only because of the walking, but because my two-year-old daughter wants me to lift her all the time to have a better view of the animals!”
