Six Signs Your Facility May Need a Wastewater Pretreatment System
Wastewater pretreatment is the process of removing pollutants from a facility’s wastewater to bring it from industrial levels of pollution (several thousand mg/L) closer to the more common residential levels of pollution (a couple hundred mg/L). At manufacturing plants, typical methods of wastewater pretreatment include equalization, pH adjustment, or pollution reduction.
Of course, not every manufacturing plant needs a wastewater pretreatment system, but if you’re wondering if your plant does, or if your current system is not getting the job done, check out the summer issue of Hixson’s EH&S From Experience newsletter. In it, we share the top six signs that manufacturing facilities may need to install a new wastewater pretreatment system or upgrade an existing system. Read it now!
