Great Place to Work: People Care About Each Other Here
Recently, Hixson announced that we have been named as a Great Place to Work® by the Great Place to Work Institute. This award was received based on the input on a confidential survey of Hixson’s 130 associates.
In the survey, 98% of Hixson’s associates said that “people care about each other here.”
What does that mean exactly?
It means that this is not just a job to those of us who are lucky enough to work at Hixson. We truly feel like family:
- We enjoy spending time with one another participating in fun activities like our holiday party, annual family picnic, and working together in service to the community, e.g., Repair Affair and Ride Cincinnati.
- We celebrate the important moments in each other’s lives, such as birthdays, new births, and anniversaries. both on our Intranet and in our in-house publication known as Hixson Ink. (Fun fact: Every associate receives “lunch on Hixson” for their birthday!)
- We lift each other up when the unthinkable occurs.
